Profile
Emmanuel studied Law in Nigeria and England. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1992 and concluded his postgraduate degree in Corporate and Commercial Law at Queens Mary College, London and a Master of Science in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution at King’s College, London. In addition, he holds a certificate in Taxation and is a member of Association of Taxation Technicians of England and Wales. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK).
He was admitted as a Solicitor of England and Wales in March 1998. He was a Law lecturer and in private practice in Nigeria.
In England, he worked for Manchester and Oxford City Councils before going into private practice in 1999. He has been a Partner at McQueens Solicitors LLP since July 2010.
His areas of practice include commercial transaction, dispute resolution, taxation and maritime law practice. He is also engaged in cross border practice between the UK and Nigeria. He is a contributor to the Journal of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators.
He is a Consultant (International) in the firm and is responsible for driving the business strategy and focus of the firm, creating functional strategic thinking and establishing functional objectives in line with organizational objectives.
